FIRST CLASS MOVERS LLC TERMS & CONDITIONS + DISCLAIMER
1. SERVICES PROVIDED
First Class Movers LLC provides professional moving labor services including loading, unloading, packing,
unpacking, assembly, disassembly, and heavy item handling. Transportation is only provided if explicitly
stated. Customers typically provide the truck, POD, U-Box, storage container, or rental vehicle.
2. BILLING & TIME CALCULATIONS
- All moves have a 2-hour minimum
- After 2 hours, billing continues in 30-minute increments.
- Time begins when the crew arrives and ends when the job is complete.
- Customer must initial start and end time on the Work Order.
3. LABOR-ONLY TRANSPORTATION LIABILITY
First Class Movers LLC is NOT responsible for ANY damage once the truck, POD, U-Box, trailer, van, or
container moves from the loading location. Liability transfers to the customer upon movement, including
damage caused by shifting, sliding, tipping, sudden stops, sharp turns, potholes, or road vibration.
4. DAMAGE LIABILITY
Movers are NOT responsible for damage involving:
- Particle board/IKEA-type furniture
- Customer-packed boxes
- Electronics not in original boxes
- Fragile items not properly protected
- Pre-existing damage or structural weakness
- Items forced through tight spaces at customer request
5. HEAVY ITEM POLICY
Items weighing 400+ lbs may cause unavoidable damage such as wall scratches, floor dents, or doorframe
pressure. Customer accepts full liability when requesting movement of these items.
6. WEATHER & ACCESS CONDITIONS
Extra precautions or delays may occur during rain, snow, ice, heat, or hazardous environments. Unsafe
conditions may pause or prevent service.
7. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer must provide legal parking, maintain clear pathways, secure pets/children, notify movers of
fragile or high-value items, and ensure safe working environments.
8. CLAIMS & REPORTING
Damage claims must be submitted within 48 hours of job completion. Claims after 48 hours will not be
accepted.
9. FINAL ACCEPTANCE
By signing Work Orders or agreements, customer acknowledges services were completed satisfactorily
unless a claim is filed within 48 hours.
